Simulators
An important component to our mining and civil programs is the use of state of the art simulators. There are a range of consoles which can be used on the simulators to suit the various job sites in the industry. For a list of the consoles used on the simulator, email tishara@rby.net.au
Why use simulators?
- Simulators are a cost-effective and time-efficient training tool.
- Simulators are mobile and can be transported close to the job site or the trainees.
- Younger people are more computer (and virtual-reality) literate, therefore the transition from a computer-based machine to the real machine is less complex.
- Simulators ensure a focus on machine operation best practice.
- Simulators provide a safer environment for the assessment of operating skills.
- Simulators provide a screening process to identify quality plant operators.
